Self-updating information technology (IT) knowledge, self-developing a new software product ... is becoming easy for everyone.
One afternoon in April, in a small room on Phan Chau Trinh street, Hai Chau district, more than 30 young people listened intently to Mr. Nguyen Huu Trinh, a programmer of EM and AI Joint Stock Company to guide how to build chatbot ( an application that simulates conversations. Among the audience, only a few work in the IT field, the rest are working in different industries.

At the beginning of the session, Mr. Trinh affirmed: “To make quality chatbot, you need to know basic programming knowledge, but to make a fun chatbot entertaining, just know… using computers is enough. ". According to Mr. Trinh, chatbot is currently one of the effective tools to support businesses, organizations and state agencies ... to provide information to customers and people, because it has the ability to "converse" with users. anytime, anywhere, giving information fast and accurate, meeting personal needs and many others.
According to Mr. Trinh, Dialogflow software will support building chatbot, but there are still many other support platforms such as Chatfuel, Botsify ... and do not require users to know programming. Even in the study session, many chatbot were born as chatbot automatically responds to customers of online accessories stores, chatbot cooks or even… chatbot chat.
The design program chatbot is one of the events organized by Facebook Developer Circles (DevC) in Da Nang. DevC is Facebook's initiative, helping to build community of developers across the globe. In Da Nang, DevC was established at the end of 2018, with founder Nguyen Huu Trinh and Doan Huu An (programmer at Wakumo Vietnam Co., Ltd.).
Mr. An said: “We want to help members of the community build their own products from the simplest steps, thereby arousing curiosity and love for technology. They need to understand that IT is not a specialty for product developers and developers. If you can use Facebook, Gmail, ... you can also build chatbot or website yourself. Who knows, from these first-hand products that young people find their passion and career orientation.
In fact, IT firms often choose to build open communities in each locality, empowering the local founders as a way of brand development. If Facebook has Facebook Developer Circles, then Google has the Google Developer Group, Microsoft has Microsoft Tech Community ...
The common point of these communities is to create an environment for members to share knowledge, collaborate, build new ideas and explore new technologies. In addition, members of these communities may enjoy some other benefits from these large corporations such as attending online technology courses, learning directly from corporate experts.
Ms. Nguyen Phuong Nhi, founder of Google Developers Group MienTrung in Da Nang said that in recent years, the community of programmers in particular and IT lovers in general in Da Nang has had a lot of prosperity with the Open events, increased interaction and connectivity.
